Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez has been awarded this week for his humanitarian and cooperation work in Iraq by the Immigrant Reception Center of Samarra, a national Iraqi institution based that is dedicated to the protection and reception of refugees from the Middle East.

The IDPs granted recognition on the basis of “their efforts in the field of humanitarian action and the dissemination of concepts of peace in the world”. The center is mainly dedicated to the collection and care of refugees who mainly come from their own country as well as from others such as Syria.
