Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez Honorary Doctor by ASEAN University International

His Excellency Sir Manuel Freire-Garabal y Núñez, the President of the Private Council of His Highness Mahmoud Salah Al Din Assaf was appointed of his career in diplomacy as Honorary Doctor in Human Rights and Diplomacy by the Indonesian University ASEAN University International.

In his young career on Diplomacy, His Excellency have been recorded great recognitions especially by Governments and NGO’s in relation to his development of the economy and peacekeeping of Middle East. That is why recently he has been achieved as one of the 250 Top influencers of the Middle East in the place 140. This fact made him being recorded by some of the greatest journals and magazines related to Philanthropy and Diplomacy.

Asean University Internationl (AUI) with the head of Professor H. Suhendar is now working in relation to developing diplomatic programs in relation to UN Global Development. Global universities, colleges and students leading delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals’ calls on the UN to better promote the role of higher and further education in all of the SDGs rather than only Goal 4 and on senior management in universities and colleges to look for innovative ways to increase staff and student capacity to address the SDGs.

AUI is contributing to this Global Alliance of the world’s universities, colleges and sustainability networks that had launched a new report; ‘Global universities, colleges, and students leading the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals’. Presented at the UN High Level Political Forum in New York, the research calls on the UN to better promote the role of higher and further education in all of the SDGs rather than only Goal 4 and on senior management in universities and colleges to look for innovative ways to increase staff and student capacity to address the SDGs.
